GP Care was founded in 1983 by Dr. Denis C. Higgins as a small, single-handed, practice in Ballybane and through a lot of hard work and dedication has become one of the leading, and most dynamic, practices in Ireland.
Our multi-disciplinary, medical team prides itself on delivering the highest level of patient care possible in the community at a level above-and-beyond what is considered the standard for general practice.
In 2016, Dr. Higgins Snr. was joined in the practice by his son Dr. Brian Higgins who has continued the tradition of striving to optimize what is possible in Irish Primary Health.
We provide care from two centres in Galway City: Harrmack House on the Tuam Road and the Galway City East Primary Care Centre in Doughiska.
These centres are linked meaning you can attend either and your medical records will always be at hand.
